L'associazione Arci Amari è accredito alla partecipazione del progetto Erasmus +: 

Uno scambio interculturale finanziato dalla Commissione Europea Erasmus + a Thassos Grecia in cui si lavorerà alla costruzione di video animazioni e corto-animati in ambiente interculturale.

 

Stiamo cercando 4 partecipanti dai 18 ai 30 anni.

 PARTICIPANTS GUIDE

The project is organized by the Non Formal Group “forward it” in the frame of ERASMUS+ program confounding by the European Union.

Project description

“Cartoonistas” is a creative project which will involve 30 young people (18-30yo) from 6 European countries, Italy, Turkey, Latvia, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece, with different geographical and cultural backgrounds. The artistic and educational program, will be held in Thasos island Greece for ten days in November 2014. "

The young participants will have the chance to work in multicultural groups, exchange their knowledge and develop their communication, artistic and technological skills. They will meet the art of making a cartoon movie, learn the basic techniques, experimenting with various ideas and methods. Experienced trainers Will introduce them to the unknown world of cartoons and in nine working days, they will create six unique short cartoon movies. Exchanging their ideas and experiences and getting inspired by the beauty of the placet and the daily life, they will choose the subject of the cartoon movie and the message they want to transfer to the people of Thasos and also their communities. Social aspects, like human rights, discrimination, freedom, peace etc. will be highlighted. "

The main purpose of the project is to bring together young people from different countries and promote tolerance and solidarity between them. Through cartoons the young participants will find a way to express themselves, come into dialogue, communicate and interact with each other. Our aim is to motivate the youngsters to cooperate with creativity and imagination, improving their skills through non formal learning.

The final aim of the project is to organize a cartoon day, open to the public and an open dialogue with the youngsters and the local community. "

During the preparation each group will prepare a short presentation, (video, power point, interactive game)of their countries. Be prepared to share with us information about your organization and your country(leaflets, brochures,videos). Each country group will present two energizers!For the interculturale evening bring some culinary specialities to present your country( without cooking, e.g., sweets, cakes, cheese, beverage etc). Finally, bring your good mood and positive energy!!!"

During the project, we will aim to the active participation of the participants. We will work in multiculturale groups using non formal education’s and interactive methods, like icebreaking games, presentation of the organizations, intercultural nights, workshops in intercultural groups, discussions, visits in local context.

English will be the working language of the project. "We will learn the history and the techniques of making a cartoon film and we will create our own, on scenario we will choose according to the groups interests and worries. At the end, we will present the result to the public. "

The aim of the project is the empowerment of the dialogue between young people from different countries and from different backgrounds. Working in multicultural groups they will have the chance to meet each other, create strong friendship bonds, improve their foreign language skills and learn to cooperate and share their knowledge. They will also come closer to the Greek way of living and mentality, by contacting locals. At the end of the project we will present the results in an open air celebration, inviting the local community. "

Visas arrangement:

We accept visas only from official authorities. Let us know in advance in order to send you the invitato letter. Visa reimbursement will be done during the training and will be reimbursed 100%."

Travel expenses:

The participants will be reimbursed for their travel expenses to and from Thasos according to the Erasmus+ funding rules. Reimbursement amount per country:"

Keep in mind, that if you buy your ticket in your local currency, we will calculate your travel costs accordino to the exchange rates from official European Commission web site. Each group leader is committed to collect the return tickets and invoices from the participants and send the originals to us in a week after their departure. "

Do not forget to keep the tickets, boarding passes and invoices in order to get reimbursement.

How to come to Thasos

By plane: The closest international airport to Thassos, is Thessaloniki’s (SKG) airport.Once you arrive to Thessaloniki Macedonia airport, take the bus No. 78 to the Macedonia Central Bus Station. Bye your bus ticket with return, to Kavala. The bus leaves every hour and the ticket cost 30eur. From Kavala port, which is a few meters away from the bus station you can buy your tickets (it cost 5eur oneway) to Prinos port Thassos island. OR from Kavala bus station, buy your bus ticket to Keramoti port, and from there take the ferry boat to Thassos island. For both ports check the following link. Keep in mind that the ferry timetable is changing almost every month and there is no ferry in the night. So book your flight early in order to catch the boat to Thassos island. "

Insurance

We assure that the participants will work in a safe environment. The participants should arrange a health

insurance before their arrival.

Accommodation

The participants will be accommodated in hotel rooms (double or triple rooms) in Thassos. In each room there is fridge and a bathroom. Bed lines and towels are provided and changed every two days. Wifi Internet is also available. All the meals and the coffee breaks are covered by the program. The provider meals will be based in the greek cuisine. Each participant is responsible for his/her personal expenses."

COMUNICATO STAMPA: CALATINI E 250 MINORI ALLO SBANDO

Mentre si ripropone l’ennesima Emergenza di Stato, il sistema dell’Accoglienza italiana entra in tilt sulle dinamiche di affidamento e di presa in carico dei minori stranieri non accompagnati.

A Caltagirone, cittadina di circa 40.000 abitanti il 3 maggio 2014 sono arrivati 250 minori stranieri non accompagnati,  scortati dalla Questura di un’altra provincia. Ignare le istituzioni locali, vittime di giochi di prestigio di una politica che conta di accaparrarsi il favore di pochi, causando incomprensioni e sviluppi che poco rispecchiano la tutela dei diritti dei minori e la Convenzione sui diritti del fanciullo: in cui “il miglior interesse del minore” deve essere sempre perseguito.

250 minori tra egiziani, eritrei, somali, ghanesi, nigeriani, del Niger… presumibilmente dagli 11 ai 17 anni, 4 ragazzine somale, di cui una al quarto mese di gravidanza sono stati affidati ad una cooperativa “La forza della vita” di Modica, oggi domiciliata in una villa privata in contrada Balatazze di Caltagirone.

Giochi di prestigio e non curanza nelle comunicazioni da effettuare alle autorità locali, il tutto perché l’affidamento è stato predisposto troppo in fretta, tanto tempestivamente che i responsabili si sono premurati di affittare una dimora di eccellenza, a Caltagirone,  in cui accomodare alla meno peggio soggetti vulnerabili .

Caltagirone da sempre città consapevole d’Accoglienza si trova oggi a veder vagare delle anime mute, incapaci di comunicare a parole i loro bisogni.

Noi riteniamo abominevole accogliere minori stranieri in numero così elevato, su un territorio già provato dalla presenza del mega cara di Mineo. Non è possibile gestire decentemente una situazione del genere, una struttura in cui si riversano i minori in una promiscuita' esagerata, la mancanza di personale altamente qualificato per provvedere a non peggiorare le condizioni dei minori: mediatori culturali che possano informare ed orientare i minori dei loro diritti e doveri sul territorio in una lingua a loro conosciuta, educatori, operatori sanitari, psicologi e  una rete di servizi strutturata a ricevere un’ utenza così delicata.

La cittadinanza tutta non può che rimanere inerme e allarmata da tanta improvvisazione.

Allo stesso tempo ci sentiamo di rassicurare la popolazione, che non deve sentirsi allarmata sulla situazione sanitaria collettiva  per patologie quali l’Ebola, non ancora riscontrate in alcun paese europeo. Il virus si è diffuso in paesi adiacenti alla Guinea. Il tempo di incubazione della malattia è di 21 giorni, arco temporale in cui i migranti non riuscirebbero mai a raggiungere le coste italiane, perché impiegano un tempo molto più lungo utilizzando mezzi di fortuna e non gli aeroporti. L’HIV non è una malattia che può essere trasmessa per via aerea, ma necessita contatti molto ravvicinati, diremo intimi, per poter essere veicolata. Per quanto riguarda la tubercolosi è necessario conoscere se qualche ospite della struttura sia risultato positivo al test ed eventualmente dovrebbe sottoporsi ad esame del torace per escludere la presenza della malattia. E’ possibile infatti risultare positivi al test della tubercolina, senza però essere malati di tubercolosi.

A nostro avviso è  necessario monitorare la situazione e soprattutto gli allontanamenti dei minori, soprattutto coloro che siano risultati positivi al test per verificare il loro stato di salute.

Si chiede quindi alla “Cooperativa La forza della vita”, di attuare una politica trasparente nella comunicazione tempestiva di tutti gli allontanamenti che si sono verificati dalla struttura, per poter verificare lo stato delle cose e soprattutto perché l’allontanamento di un minore deve essere comunicato necessariamente entro e non oltre le 48 ore agli organi competenti e se questo non avvenisse, succederebbe che un minore non presente nella struttura, darebbe ugualmente la possibilità al gestore di ricevere la diaria quotidiana pro capite prevista al centro, senza però (il minore) usufruire del servizio, causando uno spreco di denaro pubblico che andrebbe a riversarsi impropriamente nella tasche di un privato, senza contare le responsabilità penali, se a questo minore dovesse mai succedere qualcosa.
